Harwell Campus to Host the Inaugural “Harwell Japan Day” in Collaboration with Biospire and TMC
Harwell Campus, one of the UK’s leading innovation hubs, will host the first-ever Harwell Japan Day on 11 November 2025. The event is co-organised with Biospire, which is based at Harwell and leads the campus’s Japan strategy.
Harwell Campus is a unique centre for innovation, comprising four major clusters: Space, Quantum, Energy, and Life Sciences. By leveraging synergies across these sectors, it fosters cutting-edge advancements. Currently, the campus is home to over 7,500 researchers and business professionals, with surrounding investors and manufacturers also actively engaging with its ecosystem.
Collaboration between the UK and Japan in innovation is strengthening, with Harwell placing particular emphasis on its Japan strategy. Notably, in 2024, the campus signed an MoU with Cross-U, Japan’s leading space cluster.
